AFP Recognizes Third Anniversary of Kelo Decision

TOPEKA – Monday, June 23 marks the third anniversary of the landmark Supreme Court decision in the case of Kelo v. New London. In 2005, the U.S. Supreme Court ruled that governments are allowed to seize private property and give it to another private party in the name of “greater public use” – or economic development.
